Yeah, we went into total defense mode. Let Iran have all the possession and put pressure on us. Didn't like that. Do that when you're 2-0, not 1-0. Almost bit us several times in the 2nd half.

prevent pack-it-in is total bs ... the US team/corch got lucky today with that h2 strategy...

it's much simpler to play keep-away when you're up by one with 3 up front...

Rough second half like the Wales game but a win is a win. Hope the Pulisic and Sargent injuries aren't too bad. Play Reyna.

RE: OT: World Cup
They did try to counter for at least 10-20 mins of the second half, but they were clearly gassed and were without Pulisic. Iran is better on the counter attack so it was likely the smart move to sit back the last 20 mins or so.

They weren’t lifeless like Wales in the 2nd Half. They had great chances

Pulisic’s goal was a legacy-defining moment for him. When we had to win, Captain America just wanted it a bit more.

Unfortunately I couldn’t watch the second half…got to watch the first on our 80” screen in our conference room!

that silly hype is ... well, silly...

sometimes, I wonder if any of yaz ever played the game ... the dents in my shins would blow your mind...

I bet you could throw a football over that mountain. If coach had only put you in in the fourth quarter, you’d have been state champions.
