Perhaps they can explain to us what it’s like to lose to Georgia State so we’d understand better.

Perhaps it feels like losing to a team that's been beaten by Ga state when it knocks you out of the top 20. Yea just like that. You feel better?

What’s easier: getting App State fans mad or getting into App State?

Definitely getting App State fans mad. It’s pretty difficult to get in App these days, not like 25 years ago when they let me in.

Tis better to have been ranked and lost, than to have never been ranked at all.

I'd love to read some personal why you hate the other team posts. As an outsider on the rivalry. I wanna look in!!!

App/Georgia Southern was basically the FCS equivalent of the Alabama/Auburn rivalry.
With nine national championships between them, There was a good chance that at least one of the teams were nationally ranked at the time of their meeting and regardless every game was a tossup regardless of record. If your season was garbage, beating the other team was at least a silver lining to the season.

I think it really started to take off even more after Western Carolina decided that it didn't want to be a competitive program anymore so it got more heated on account that each team had a good shot of winning as stated above.

I also think it was intensified when Georgia Southern followed App to the Sun Belt and game them an inferiority complex.

We accepted an invitation to the Sun Belt before App State did

RE: Hate Week 2022
TBD thinks that Benson holding the press conference in Statesboro before Boone means they were first. That's cute, GS wasn't joining unless App did, your leadership said it, not me.

Plus Karl wanted to spend the night in the high country not a ditch after the announcements.

Same with GS. Not sure how colleges these days have increased their requirements for brain cells over time with society at large going the opposite direction... Oddly enough, the older I get the more I can't remember a blessed thing. I do know this though, when it comes to football - revisionist history is always correct, we're still the boss despite lacking relevancy in 20 years, we're still the king of the jungle no matter of how much of a skid mark we leave on the Sun Belt, and sheep are better than goats. Wait, how does this trash talk thing go again? I forgot.

GPAs are highly inflated these days.

Not according to Karl Benson.
