RE: Jeff Scott has been fired
enough room to give brian gregory another raise

honestly 2.5 seasons 1 being the covid year seems insanely short...

Primetime will end up going to a P5. If FSU & Norvell part ways he'll go there.

Had to go. Former Head Coach Jim Leavitt, Deion, and Scott Frost seem to be on lists of names being tossed around.

Honestly, USF can hire literally anyone and they will do a better job than Jeff Scott. A cardboard cutout could have as good of a record.

Cant tell if you guys are serious or not... 1 FBS win in 3 seasons? EVERYTHING is trending down... Guy is so clearly out of his comfort zone and unprepared for this job...

If there had been any improvement whatsoever... anything at all, I might be willing to go another year... But it's just that bad. A bottom 10 FBS team just hung 50+ points on us... Had to go.

My big fear now is that this is essentially round FIVE.

Holtz, Taggart, Strong, Scott... now ??

We can't take another 3 year cycle of sucking, being patient waiting for the next guy to 'recruit and rebuild'. We need to hire a GD winner...

I'd try him out as OC for ECU next year.

That team has some talent but it's baaaaad. I'm sure many USF had seen enough.

Y’all beed to hire a proven HC and then give him 5 years to get things turned around. Names I would consider:

Curt Cignetti- HC at JMU
Clay Helton- HC at GA Southern
Kane Wommack - HC at South Alabama

These guys are your best bets.

I agree. Scott Frost took over UCF after the 0-12 season to 13-0 in his second season. He should be able to recruit well in Florida. I don't think he would be interested right now. He has plenty of money without having to go through all the stress.

Just No! That 0-12 Team Scott Frost took over had in it's previous 5 years, a 4 Bowl games to include a BCS Bowl game and victory. That team (Despite O'Leary's failures) was set up to win. He would not have that luxury at USF and he failed at NU where he had all the resources and was loved. Hard Pass.
