What about the Peach Cup, ChooChoo?? Sherman??!!! 05-ban 05-ban

The Golden Banjo! You got the city slickers (GSU) dueling against the country folk (GS).

Like 70% of their students are from Metro Atlanta and Statesboro is not Appalachia.

What's wrong with the Peach Cup??
Nothing. My comment was about the Golden Banjo.

Can someone give some context to this name?

Huntington). Boone was at one point the eastern terminus on the narrow gauge Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina ("Tweetsie") Railroad. Trophy is two train whistles (one a replica of a C&O steam locomotive, the other a replica of a train whistle from Tweetsie Locomotive #12.) Winning team gets to hook their whistle up to a steam boiler and sound it off after the game.

I'm trying to think of a way to finesse this reference into something like 'Till the Whistle Blows, allowing for subtle allusions to a moonshine still, showing that both teams are going to play hard until the final whistle, and of course there is a big ole train whistle for the winner to sound off at the end of the game...

Both Georgia and Alabama are top producers of peanuts esp the southern parts of the states where GS and Troy are located.

Not really Sun Belt related, but I had to do one for Marshall's Oldest rival too.

Colonial Derby (pronounced DARBY you ******* Yankees): ODU-JMU-Georgia State. Battle of former CAA schools. Winner gets an authentic Richmond Coliseum hot dog on a pedestal.

Dothan, AL, is located slightly to the south of Troy, and is home to the National Peanut Festival (it is also home to the Robert Trent Jones Highland Oaks Golf Course). Southern Georgia is also well known for growing peanuts, hence the "Battle for the Golden Peanut."

It may be a little too busy but I thought it would be cool to add the road signs for San Marcos and San Antonio
