That may all be correct (I did see the Tweet of this a.m.), but I doubt it means anything, EITHER WAY.

Now that there are organized team practices I'm not sure Emoni is even allowed near the GG Center.

I do not know if we are in a dead period for hoops (we ARE for football).

This stuff is so hard to game out because, among things, there are so many NCAA rules.

As I understand it, under NCAA rules if he is on an official visit he can practice or whatever with the team (unorganized pick up ball type activities); otherwise, no?? E.g., a UofM MBB is considering transferring to EMU. I don't think he can show up after an EMU practice and play pick up ball with the team at the GG Center.

This is accurate. But they only get 5 total official visits and one per school. So at best you're getting two days (an official visit can be up to 48 hours) on campus.

Ramy - no worries…..we are in a win - win situation. Emoni has been an enabler to get the Midwest to see EMU in print and that’s a BIG win. I believe Stan will get EMU to be the landing spot for top mid major talent and Emoni is helping him establish the foundation. If he came (don’t think he will), then that would speed Stan’s process up very quickly. Either way it has been a win win situation for EMU basketball.

I truly believe Noah Farrakhan may actually be a better college player than Emoni. However if they teamed up, EMU would have one hecukava 3 guard line up with Noah, Emoni and Acuff.
