RE: Any word on Sunbelt soccer?
I assume the official announcements will be made after all the teams are officially in the SBC in July.
From what I've read, there's still a lot of moving parts in regards to teams that are a part of other conferences who don't offer soccer.
The Circus housed a few and they're in limbo

I'm sure someone else can give more details on that (the only full soccer game I've ever watched was when we won the Natty)

WVU will follow. Assuming they do, what does our soccer conference look like?

Georgia Southern
Marshall
Coastal Carolina
James Madison
UK
South Carolina
WVU
Georgia State
ODU

That looks like a really strong league, and I am sure that I missed listing someone.

So does the SB3 leaving effectively kill Circus soccer ball?

I hope App does. Appalachian FC has been holding down the fort pretty well...

Yeah I hope App brings back the soccer program. With those conference members why wouldn't you want to have a seat at that table.

I just looked up Marshall's attendance stats coming off a National Championship and it says 9 home games with an average home attendance of 1,446 per game, but one game with 3,000 fans was against West Virginia and skewed the numbers. Does this sound right or am I looking in the wrong place?

That sounds right. It's not many people but we don't have a lot of seating there.
That said I don't know how that stacks to other attendance

When I was down at Disney about a month ago, the people in the cabin across from us had an App FC decal on their window.

I chose y'all coming off a NC. Will check Clemson next as it looks like they just won one.

I don't keep up with soccer like that, but our program definitely came a long way in a short amount of time. I'm sure they'll be back near the top next year

UCF and/or FIU may go to the MAC.

Most SBC teams are in the 150-400 range.

RE: Any word on Sunbelt soccer?
Our soccer stadium only seats 1,006 so we averaged 400 fans more than the original seating capacity. I think we did bring in some additional seats this year to help out on short notice. Our soccer program support is growing fast right now. It was growing even before the national championship run.
