Coach Juwan Howard suspended for five games.
Does not seem equal or fair.

But it does matter. Players fight in sports all the time. Nobody gets a lifetime ban. Now you punch an official or a fan, that is a different story.

That wasn't a punch. He grabbed his face with open hand. If he would have laid him out with a real punch he'd likely be fired.
