The way our current roster is structured, we have 6 players that may be exiting the scene at year's end - Aziah Hudson, Mariah Adams, Ajah Wayne, and Amari Young are all seniors while Maggie Robinson and Iggy Allen are graduate students. Does anyone know if any of the seniors stay for another year? If none of them stays, what's the outlook for 2022 and 2023 as far as recruiting goes? I searched but came up empty on potential recruits. Do I dare say we definitely need a couple of sharp shooters on our team? Call me crazy but the way the game is played now, the coaching staff should be looking to bring in 2 recruits who can clip 3-point shots at 38%-40% rate. Thoughts?

According to this site we have offered the following 2023 prospects:

Kymora Johnson, 5’8 Guard, St. Anne’s-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)
Cori Allen, 5’10 Guard, Montverde Academy (FL)
Reychel Douglas, 6’0 Wing, Millbrook (Raleigh, NC)
Olivia McGhee, 6’3 Combo Guard, Louisa County (Mineral, VA)… we did not make her Top 11 final schools.

All of the 2022 recruits listed on this site have committed elsewhere.

With players all across NCAA placing their names in the portal, etc., and not having heard or seen any moves by our coaching staff, I turned to the web and appears one of the 2022 HS recruits that ODU offered, 5'-8 Combo G., Gia Cooke, did actually sign late last year with Texas A&M, but has now decommitted, as of April 7, and perhaps available for another consideration.

Last year the team had 15 players. Two are grad students and not returning. Three freshmen who rarely played are not coming back. Wayne, Adams, Hudson are seniors who could have returned but chose to enter transfer portal. All of this leaves the cupboard pretty thin. Great to see a 6-3 center enter the fold, but the team will need some shooters. Hope they’re in the pipeline.

Who is the 6’3 center? I must’ve missed that recruit.

ODU is shown on page 15. To me the format is not as good as the way the men's basketball transfers are listed.

Any news at all on Lady Monarchs recruiting/transfers? Feels so quiet. Maybe good news for ladies and more on the men in the next couple weeks? One can hope.

Interesting group of new additions.
I look forward to seeing how Coach Milton-Jones can mold their respective talents into our current roster.

Looks like a nice group of recruits. Hope they do a good job for ODU.

I read that as Chipotle and got very concerned.
