He plays as many minutes as the starters, but it gives us a spark off the bench. Rice, Lewis, Covington, and Hatton all have key roles to play in the long-term success of the Tribe. Our best 3 players currently are Koechera, Carroll, and Wight. Any night that all 3 are not effective, the Tribe gets drilled. But, the potential of adding 2 more players(and hopefully a 3rd) next season gives me hope that things are going to get better with more talent and more experience.
Well, to be fair, it would be hard for them to get worse.
Yes, it's well known that all players are exactly as good as one game. No other games should ever be used for evaluation. And it can only be the worst game they've played. I'm more and more convinced this is a second Tribester account.

"Them" referred to the whole 5-18 team. We do have three decent players (and two sophomores!), but zero good ones.
If I'm criticizing any specific players (and there is plenty to go around), I assure you I do it on the basis of 23 games.

I would love to see a 6'8 or taller player to line up next to Wight. I don't see Wight and Hatton playing at the same time. Maybe Williams as a stretch four, but I'm not sure that he can defend more athletic power forwards in space. We'll see. Maybe Blair could come back for one more season.
Would not be surprised to see either Blair or Harvey come back for the final year based on the lack of availability this year. It does not count towards the total of 13 scholarship players. Dane has 2 scholarships left to possibly fill for next year, 3 if Rainers does not return or another player. #1 need is an athletic wing to replace Carroll. #2 would probably be another big (you can never have enough talented bigs) if Harvey does not return, especially of Williams redshirts next year.
