Well Troy ends up getting blown out but in the 2nd half the refs were not great either way but Coach Cross got tossed. Saturday night is going to be a very intense game. Hope Troy packs out Trojan Arena.

South Alabama beats Troy 82-63. The game Saturday in Troy should be big. Troy is going all out for the game.

I'm pretty sure App State MBB and WBB being in first place at the same time is some precursor the end times. Believe it's in the King (Lebron) James Version of the Bible.

Scott Cross would've beat the crap out of the ref if he could. He was HOT.

That ejection is going to lead to an unbelievably fired up Troy team on Saturday. Cross will probably use the whole situation as motivation I'd have to assume.

If ESPN ever needed to pick up a national broadcast game, today and Saturday's game would've been it.

Yep, the Jags clung and won by 19 pts. 82-63 in front of 4,146 fans.

It was a college basketball game and not a fist ******* fight. I was glad that the players on both teams played a fairly clean game.

We had to steal extra possessions. Cajun players were shooting lights out 3s all night. Nearly 60% last when i was checking stats. Wouldve lost to UL if not forcing those 20 turnovers.

Obviously it’s a game, CBT was just making an observation … but Cross was pissed about a rather flagrant *looking* foul when seen in real time. Never saw a replay to know the extent though. Refs were bad in the 2nd half

The spirit of rivalry. I liked it. The Troy/USA games over the last decade in football/basketball have gotten very chippy and fiery.

Don’t forget baseball. That’s probably the sport I’ve seen get the most chippy in the recent past.

We continue our pattern of being just good enough that you can’t say we suck, but nowhere close to great.

Been this way for many years, and it’s getting old. Older than our coach.
More dangerous than being absolutely terrible. Just crusin' and flying under the radar. Before you know it, it's been 35 years and the program has won absolutely nothing notable.

You did get a nice win over a decent South Carolina.

Was optimistic after that and brought back to reality after struggling against Emory & Henry. Cliff is good for a few nice unexpected wins here and there, while also being good for a few bad WTF games. Coastal finishes an average team, decent players move on, and we restock with transfers who have little to no chemistry. Broken record. Let's do it again next season.

You know I’ve been reluctant to join the ‘Fish Fry,’ but clearly that time has come. Marlin needs to go.

FWIW, a very good friend of mine who never gets into this kind of rumor mill stuff, said he said it’s a done deal that this will be marlin’s last year. And this friend of mine plays tennis at Red’s with some very well connected folks, lol.
