Monty Scott has shot a sizzling 89.5 percent (17-19) on two’s the last two games. He’s shooting 76 percent (19-25) on two’s in EMU’s three games.

Those two are literally carrying the team on their shoulders. Period.

I might be joining the Miggy/Luckey bandwagon hon Monty. Monty was 8/9 on twos in the Illinois State game and followed it up with 9/10 on twos against Northern Kentucky. That is impressive for a guard and to do it in back to back games is kind of hard to believe. I already think he clearly has the best passing “vision” on the team. Monty might be EMU’s star. Not to discount Farrakhan’s capabilities at all (he tied him in points last night), or nor to discount McBride’s skills and contributions as well (he has been just as productive over 3 games).

This is a fantastic 3 guard lineup. Improved Frontcourt play is essential for making full use of them, but not sure if EMU will get there this year. I like what Nate Scott did yesterday, but the rest of the Frontcourt crew has been inconsistent or limited. I would like to see Ballard get some minutes especially given the lax rebounding from last night and during Binelli’s absence.

Totally agree. The team will go thru growing pains that will make them
stronger.

If he’s on, McBride needs to take 13 fga’s plus.

We should enjoy watching both Monty and Noah play. Fans will have a favorite, and debate who’s better.

Playing for Temple, Scott shot 9-11 on three’s, scored 25 points. Shouldn’t matter who he’s playing as he creates separation. Just a matter whether ball goes in the hoop. As such, Scott plays like he’s by himself on the court.
