The game is not televised, is not being streamed, nor is it on radio.

I'm in. I'm ready for some hoops.

For those of us who may not be able to make it, would appreciate anyone’s intermittent updates/analysis during the game!

Wish this was at least on radio or something. Excitement level for this team is definitely higher for many folks than it’s been in more than a decade.

I'm more excited about this season than any in the past decade outside of the year after we went to the 2nd round under Haase and promptly fell flat on our butts, which ushered in the prestigious Ehsan era.

UAB website says there will be live stats…whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen

I'm hoping we see some much improved shooting from the Blazers.

If you count fans, band, players, cheerleaders and the remaining hair follicles on AK’s head…. There are perhaps 700 souls here.

Starting lineup:

So far we are playing really high pressure man, picking up full court after made baskets. AUM had to burn a time out on their second possession after their player picked up his dribble and could find no one to pass to. 4-0 good guys early after two Buffen FTs and a put-back dunk by Trey.

Leblanc was first off the bench for Jemison. Errol was set to check in for lovin before the under 16 TO. 9-10 AUM. All of their baskets have been at the rim.
We’ve switched into a 1-2-2 full court press after a couple of baskets. Still a high press man in half court.

5 minutes in, Blazers trail 9-12

We just missed 7 shots on one possession. Not sure if I should be very impressed or mortified.

Locure hits a 3 to go up 15-14

UAB 4-26 from the field. Yikes.

So, good news. We are shooting better from 3 than from the field as a whole!

Bad news. We are shooting 16.6 from 3 (1-6) and 15.4% from the field (4-26)
