Get these three across the finish line and take your time from there. These three at worst, stabilize the conference from now and eliminate the possibility of the MAC calling two and it collapsing.

Those would be nice additions to CUSA. Gives them a football home and fills CUSA to the required eight teams.

I agree 100 percent, no need to rush after you have met minimum requirements

Nice! Try to get UConn to schedule some basketball games against CUSA teams as well.

Even with these three they are short one full member.if UConn isn’t full then UMass if in play won’t be either.
Still need 1-3 fcs call up as full members

The less fcs call ups the better. If Liberty joins that’s a real game changer

Curious to see who between NMSU or Liberty it would be. Since UConn isn't leaving the Big East for CUSA in the other sports. Or maybe there'd be a second wave of 1 or 2 all sports members after this.

Really has potential as a basketball conference. WKU, La. Tech, Liberty, UTEP, New Mexico State...not bad. Liberty will help stabilize the football side of things, and I think UConn football will be better now that they at least have a conference.

I'm happy with all 3 names. Now pick the best FCS school and call it a day.

Oh, my gosh. They better! This would be one of the only reasons to invite a football-only UConn into this conference.

I have a feeling that the league isn't even interested in North Dakota State and South Dakota State if they think going northeast is an option. What a mistake that would be.

Could this encourage Marshall to stay?

The remaining 5 needs 3 more full members, with two being NMSU and liberty that is only 7. Given the risk of losing wku, mtsu or even if FIU becomes football only, and the paucity of available fbs teams, CUSA would be smart to elevate 3 fcs as full members now.

The Dakota twins would be a nice add for fcs. But how is their basketball?

Better than most.

No clue who the FCS call up might end up being, or does CUSA still some team from the MAC or Sunbelt that nobody expected

I think there is a reason Marshall hasn’t bolted yet, maybe seeing all the options first
