Jahquil Batts is an interesting addition. Was QB at Don Bosco up here in NJ and it looks like he made the switch to defense at prep school. Very good athlete and good size as well. I would watch for him to possibly get on the field.

Anyone have any idea when practice gets underway? Is it one month before the first scheduled game?

What never ends? What is the it we must confront? Are you referencing the recent increase in positive COVID cases?

I don't feel like the season is in any jeopardy. The only thing that could happen would be a decrease in fan attendance due to COVID cases rising. And even that would be pretty highly likely.

Since there is a vaccine out there, it's harder to justify closing things down (in my opinion). I think if anything were to happen, perhaps the vaccine "passports" may be required for "super spreader" events, but things would have to get MUCH worse for that to happen.

Without going too far off tangent, I think we'll be alright as long as there isn't another variant worse than Delta. If there were a variant that put young kids at risk, that would be incredibly serious and could put us back at square one.
Aside from something like that, I believe we'll be alright. Just important to stay safe and be careful. We aren't out of the woods yet, and the safer we can be during this time the more likely things will get back to normal much sooner.

Gee, I’m so happy you’ve taken the opportunity to bring a discussion about COVID to this thread. Surely it will be a topic ripe for enlightened discourse and new and interesting points of view.

Yeah not sure what happened with Garrett Groulx. Last year was his redshirt Junior year, so it's possibly he graduated and decided to move on with his professional life.
