Also there's more and more data suggesting those who catch Covid the 2nd time usually have a harder time with it and have greater chance for the dreaded "long-haul" symptoms. And that makes sense since that's certainly been my experience with the flu.

I feel good. Period. So sell your fear somewhere else.

Put a link for your bullshite.

I'm not afraid at all. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

They Had Mild Covid. Then Their Serious Symptoms Kicked In.

Some Covid-19 Patients Say They’re Left With Ringing Ears

That's just the tip of the iceberg. All the possible long-term known and unknown side-effects of having even mild covid makes it a joke to even worry about the very low risk of getting the shot. Basically the only risk of the shot is a very small chance for an allergic reaction which is the same for any shot you get, and it's very treatable.

Also you have to keep in mind this is NOT going away. All the vaccine will do is localize outbreaks. We'll still have 10's of thousands of deaths a year from it just like we do with the flu. Annual flu shots will become flu/covid shots. Those who don't get one will always be at much greater risk of catching covid (just like the flu) from a localized outbreak, and suffer from the possible long-term consequences of it.

It is what it is. That is reality from here on out. And don't think the fact the rest of population is wearing masks is going to help you. The mask will be largely history in a few months, except for the fact we'll be more like Asia from here on out in which a very small percent of the population will still wear a mask in public and of course not be frowned upon.

Low risk of getting the shot? And you know this exactly how? Just because there are no immediate side effects (from this new shot that has been in circulation for less than 12 months), that does not mean that something that takes longer to manifest has not been planted in your system chief....

NOBODY KNOWS FOR SURE - that is the whole point you dumbarse. How many f-ing times has Fauci and CDC and Birks and everyone else changed their tune as this has progressed? Even something as simple as the mask has evolved from none needed to "you should wear 3 to be safe"....

Case in point...

Nowhere near enough time has passed to know what might happen down the road.

I will get my shot when I am good and ******* well ready to and not before - not just because some random anonymous know-it-all tells me to.

I think I speak to many here when I say GFY.........

Exactly. Words mean something. In this case the pharma companies have no liability. Boys and girls, you’re on your own....

Okay so you imagine there could be issues later down the road and you're afraid of that imaginary boogeyman. But we do know for a fact there is a significant risk of long term issues from having had covid. So you favor the real devil over the imaginary one? Sure the imaginary one might be worse, or it might be a figment of your imagination. What we do know is that almost 400 million worldwide has now had the shot over the last 4 months and that devil is still all but imaginary while the details of the long-haul covid devil have only been getting worse.

The devil is in the details.

Covid hasn't been around long enough to know anything about "long term issues" genius. jfc. You're merely parroting the MSM fear mongering. You don't understand many of us just aren't scared. And again, gfy.

Who said anything about being afraid? Just because I am not afraid to jump off a bridge, that doesn't mean I am going to.

I respect your opinion of and action to receive the vaccination. Whatever helps you sleep at night hoss.

There is nothing about any of this Covid event that has a simple black and white / yes and no answer. NOTHING.

And then there's this. The 3 groups most reluctant to get vaccinated are:

1) Evangelicals
2) Q'anon
3) White, far right-wing older conservatives

Now what do all 3 of these groups have in common? They are among the most brainwashed in America. 03-shhhh

Leave the guy alone. He’s obviously brilliant because he already knows the long term effects of a virus that has only existed for 14 months. He doesn’t know the long term effects for a vaccine that has only been around for 4 months, but he knows there won’t be any.

My guess is he believed the early reports of 2 million deaths in the US in 2020. He believed Fauci when he said you didn’t need a mask, he believed Nancy when she encouraged people to visit Chinatown and Diblasio when he told people it was safe to ride the subway and go to shows. In fact, I’m pretty sure he believes everything CNN and MSNBC tells him to believe.

You forgot to add front line healthcare workers. 40% in some polls I've heard cited say eh-eh. Why's that?

Why do you possibly give a schit if certain individuals decide against getting an experimental drug shot into them? Are you really that concerned about the health of random sports message board guy?

Very Nanny-state of you. If they catch it and survive, great. Adds one more to the herd. If they catch it and die? Welp, one less to worry about.

It was actually older white far-right conservative MALES in particular. Women in the group are far more likely to get the vaccine as compared to males. But still not at the pace that moderate, and liberal women are willing to do so.

As far as the science behind this, the paperwork that came with my shot stated the criteria the FDA used to approve it for emergency use. In specific they determined the risk/benefit of taking it far outweighed the risk/benefit of not taking it based on the trials and other evidence. With an organization as picky as the FDA, that is a significant statement. So what if worst case a small fraction suffers some unknown side-effect that ordinarily would prevent approval because worst case it's most definitely saving countless lives and preventing known side-effects of having covid.

You wanted to take the vaccine - and have done it. I’m sure you feel good about it.

Don’t worry about anyone but yourself and your family.........anyone else, not your business. That’s it, end of story.

Scorp is way off on his post... and he knows it.

Minorities who have access to the vaccine are the numero uno group reluctant to get it. We have seen that in our organization(health care)... most frontline workers, around 80%... total is at 50%. Worst populations not taking is housekeeping, security, food services, etc..

This..........

So obvious you get all your info from the MSM or government. Two groups that have been caught in outright lies too many times to mention.

.......and that’s where your beliefs come from........a sheeple to the nth degree.

Again, why do you care so deeply about some guy in Memphis or Buffalo or Richmond about getting vaxxed? You really that concerned about their personal health?

And, please, do-tell: What is “far right” in your lexicon? Those that prefer to stay with family and friends they know and forego the stick, at least for now?
Something else? Such as?

This oughta be great with the mind numbing stereotypes.

Thx
