We managed to play Abilene Christian to a tie for 9 innings yesterday. Unfortunately, they played extra innings and Abilene won in 10.

Today, we are 6 ours away from an 0-7 start with Abilene up 5-3 in the 7th. Considering we play Oklahoma next weekend, wins don't appear to be arriving anytime soon.

Tennessee completed sweep. No clutch hitting from GSU throughout weekend.

Not sure I'd call it good, you guys killed us. Really disappointing weekend for us.

Coastal beats Davidson and Miami (OH). Drops 5-4 game tonight vs UConn. We run it back with UConn tomorrow.

We got swept. 9-4 final. We might win a game, one day.

Not this year. Some one has to deal with this mess. And basketball. I pity the new AD.

Louisiana wins 2 of 3 against a scrappy Houston Baptist club. We had more than enough opportunities for the sweep.

I honestly think baseball is in such bad shape right now you let basketball go for a year on the idea that they at least showed signs of improvement down the stretch. We're on pace for a historically bad season, and that can't ever be acceptable.

Beat Rice tonight for the 6th straight time, and lost to #8 Texas Tech and #9 TCU.

Play TCU again on Tuesday in San Marcos.

In a couple of weeks the Cajuns are scheduled for a four game series against TCU in Lafayette. I'm looking forward to that series and the following weekend four game series against Coastal Caroline to determine where we are overall.

WE WON A BASEBALL GAME!!!!!!!!!!!

10-2 over Missouri State, who for reasons unbeknowns to me threw their best pitcher for 4 innings against an 0-7 team who is averaging giving up 12 runs a game and was averaging something like 15 walks per 9 innings as a pitching staff coming in.

Game 2 is tomorrow

We had chances but no clutch hits and we lost 5-2 to Georgia last night. Host UAB for 3 this coming weekend

AState sweeps the Midweek series with Missouri State, who probably will be considering dropping their baseball program forthwith if they looked at our statistics coming in.

However, the fact that we are starting to get our pitching figured out is a good sign heading into league play next weekend in Boone.

Louisiana out hits Miss. State 7-4 but kicks the ball around the infield and continues to have base running issues. When this team figures it out they’ll be dangerous.
