Surely they don't make you guys travel to Greenville on that Thursday. Thursdays should only be at home, or come after bye weeks.

ESPN will dictate it. They're not going to give a flying fig about us or our record this year, we're almost certainly just filler for the TV schedule. We're almost certainly, at best, going to go .500, but that all depends on if the transfers coming in and the attitude adjustment from players leaving starts to turn us around.

Tulane has the worst possible AAC draw. No Temple. No Navy.
This was the wrong year to have OU and Ole Miss on the schedule.
I can see a 3-3 start - but that UAB game is spooky af. After that, they enter a murderer's row (Cincy, SMU, UCF). Any bowl hopes might be dead after that segment.

You have USF at home 11/20.

Miss the "Ocean State" already, out of the way, but never had any issues with water damage...

Great point, didn't think about that.
I've had a water leak before...not fun. But water breaks in frigid weather without electricity is the worst. Hopefully they can back back to normal in a few months.
Someone is getting screwed... Hence the water leak...

UCF has a pretty favorable schedule. No back to back road games. @Cincy followed up with Memphis on a short week will be the hard part.
Tough FINISH for SMU yes. Navy has all those in a six-week no-bye stretch:
@ Houston, then UCF with 2+ weeks to install defense against option, then SMU, then five days til @ Memphis, then Cincinnati, then six days til @ Tulsa, who has a bye before. Then the ooc breather @ ND.

Still not as bad as if they had to travel to Tulsa.

Temple will struggle mightily this year. First time in 20 years not excited about the football season. We have one win I can be confident in (Wagner) and 2 games we might win (USF & Navy) Other than that, I see a lot of 45-9 type losses.
Early prediction: 3-9

I know UConn leaving for the Big East in hoops hurt, but there is always a need to have 1-2 teams in every football conference that are the designated "dregs" of the league.
We should have cut a half-share deal to keep them in for FB.
UConn have good academics and market share - so they made for an excellent bottom feeder from a prestige POV.
