The soultion is simple. Mail in balloting ends the weekend prior to election day. If its not received by that weekend---it doesnt count. You can still cast a ballot on election day or you can turn it in IN PERSON at a polling place on election day---but the drop boxes and "Mail In" opportunities have passed if the ballot is not received by the end of the weekend prior to the election. That gives election officials plenty of time to get a full count of the ballots and to begin verifying them and counting them prior to election day. Voters will have had a month or more to mail in their ballot---if they missed the deadline---thats on them---they can still vote in person.

Counting mail in ballots before Election Day is illegal in many states.

Opening and curing the ballots before election day is illegal in PA. But the democrats did it anyway.

Can you link, please.

I can. It would be like the 80th time I've had to do it. If you were really up on this sh*t, you wouldnt need a link. Surely you, a man of the law, knew that PA democrats got busted curing mail in ballots whereas republicans didnt.

Funny, you got pouty at me for not providing you a link for stuff I had posted earlier.

In fact, you never bothered to even say 'thank you for that link. that you posted again, tanq'.

I would think that a guy that gets so fing churlish about me not re-posting a link when requested might think about doing so.

But I forgot, that is probably who you are.

I think your broad allegation is a tad incorrect.

The clerks were telling the voters themselves that they should properly date a ballot -- which the Penn Sup. Ct. deemed not illegal and scuttled that portion of the state law.

I also remember that the Voting Rights Act was invoked to denote that if the clerks did in fact simply toss the ballots, there was a good chance that tossing them because of the date on the envelope would be violative of the VRA.

So, again, link to your basis for your broad, general comment completely devoid of facts?

I'll even acknowledge that you provided the link, and thank you for it.

This is a message board, not a court of law. Good grief. How sad.

If you dont like having the law being part of the discussion, chuckles, I suggest you suggest to your compadre to not make broad based misstatements like he does above.

I guess you simply dont give a **** whether the statement is true or false, since you have already decided which version to chugalug and the actual facts be damned.

Or, just continue with your ignorant, churlish, and immature remarks like you do above. No skin off my back....

My guess is you just continue on your normal course with the last two options.

Nighty night Barteet. Remember -- aromatherapy might really help you out. Seriously, as much of an ass you are, I really hate to see someone struggle as you do.

I still find your 'piss off' attitude when a link requested from you, when compared to your combative ******* demanding attitude when you want a link, to be that of shallow, hypocritical *******.

But lordy me, I forgot with whom I am speaking. Color me unsurprised.

By the way UmassSchoolTech -- you are welcome for that last link. Amazing you forgot to say that after your snivelly demanding spiel you put on then. Wait, lordy me again -- I forgot the level of whom I am conversing with.

Hopefully that will end your original cracker jack assertion that there was no letter under oath. One small step.....

Quite the comment from the guy that explicitly readily admits to not giving a flip whether a factual issue is true or false.

As noted, must the quite the fun time in the Barteet household based on your continuous demeanor. Fun fun fun.

no shite ... now, what are they doing to fix it ... oh yeah, not a fk'n thingy within their control ... whatever the ones trying to fight back in submission will be dismissed by their guvs ... they have their electorate by the cods....

hence, "gubernatorial races were more important" @>270EVs #muhMail-it-Inns

Get rid of all Dominion Machines, heck any electronic machines for votes...paper ballots, in-person on day of election only, hand-counting and verification in front of close and fully transparent monitoring by public, Valid citizen ID and any absentee ballots signature matched and include valid ID attached to it permanently (else, vote in person). Would be a start.

Hand counts are less accurate and hand counting would take significantly more time (especially if there was NO early voting), and you're already bitching about not having results on election night.

Great, start? 07-coffee3

You’re a confirmed stooge.

ErMuhGawd how did we ever vote before Muh Machines?!?

As in, a decade or so ago?

Pretty simple to see what happened here.

The automatons gave rise to the jokers recognizing how simple it will/was/is to manipulate votes and voting if things are taken OUT of actual peoples hands, especially rabid partisans.

Why else do we see all this corruption and cheating going on in only certain districts, precincts or other locales?

Who runs them on the local level? 04-coffee

And you're a complete and utter moron.

My comment spoke to nothing about how anything used to happen or what should or could happen going forward. Rather, I merely pointed out facts. 1. Machine counting is more accurate; 2. Hand counting takes more time; 3. Your ilk ******* to no end how long it takes to count votes now with high-speed tabulators in the mix.

So, you can go back to how we handled elections 10-20-30 years ago if you like. Just be prepared for less accurate results and be prepared to wait much longer for results.

Lastly, your "cheating" accusations are just simply hogwash. Take the governors race in Arizona for example. Down ballot Republicans got WAY more votes than Lake. Why would anyone go to all that trouble to cheat to have Hobbs win, but not also cheat down the ballot and have Democrats win there as well? Doesn't require much thought to know...if you can actually think rather than sky scream that is. Lake lost because she was a horrible candidate. 07-coffee3

I have to assume you weren't alive 20-30 years ago, so I guess you don't realize that they used to have results the night of the election. Now, with the "technology", we wait for days and weeks in some cases.

Moron.
