Probably nothing more than a coincidence, but is athletics looking at utilizing Dieterle? The teaser image for let it fly is a view onto nippert from inside the building, and there's been a giant haul away dumpster stationed beside the building for weeks now.

I have no idea how that would even work, but found it a strange view of nippert to be used..

Big Fick mentioned in his five years at CHG this is the first one that the offense looked to be ahead of the defense in terms of execution, play making abilities and creating challenges to the other side of the ball. That gents is great fuggin' news if our offense can take it to a higher, more consistent level this year.

excellent idea. i wonder if you could kind of attach it to the stadium. because it looks like it already is part of the stadium

The other pick was vs Notre Dame in the Peach Bowl. Wut? Been there, done that - Peach Bowl last season and playing Notre Dame in the regular season this year.

It's a "historic" UC logo from decades ago. I don't disagree that it's a great look, but it's been widely used by other schools and doesn't easily identify Cincinnati the way the C-Paw does. My guess is it will only be licensed for "retro" sportwear as it is not the primary mark of UC or Bearcat athletics.

It has been fun seeing the re-appearance of that snarling Bearcat head from the 1950's baseball uniforms creeping back into the apparel. I don't know the origin of that but if it's unique and licensed to UC we may see it more often.

I had a sweatshirt in 1968-1969 that had those block letters on it. I also believe the mid field logo at Nippert back then was also that style.
