Another Rocket win. They beat Marist 5-2. McKenna Schmidt, a freshman, pitched pretty well for 4.1 innings, throwing strikes and getting people out. Hunt relieved when she got in trouble. They are 9-4 on the season going into their big tests next weekend. Go Rockets!

Tough day yesterday for Rocket Softball, Hunt suffers her first loss of the season, a 3-2 defeat to ETSU. Then the Rockets lost to Stanford 13-0.

Today the Rockets are currently up 2-0 on Tennessee with 2 Toledo HRs in the 4th.

Toledo was leading Tennessee 3-0, but a bases loaded double for the Vols tied it 3-3 after 5th. Lets see if we can retake the lead and win this thing.

Rockets ain't afraid of no Vols. Back ahead 4-3 in the sixth.

The wrong UT wins 10-9.

Hunt had nothing left to give in extra innings and got lit up. Threw something like 180 pitches. If they don't have another pitcher that's gonna be an issue.

UT softball loses two more today. ETSU 3 Toledo1; Stanford 14 Toledo 1. The Rockets are 9-9 on the season and are scheduled to play 8 games in Florida starting Tuesday. They will face good teams, so coming out of it 4-4 would be a pretty good showing.

Rockets lose today to a good South Dakota State 8-3. UT's only highlight was Morgan Paaverud hitting a three-run home run. She has 4 on the year. Rockets have seven more games in Florida, including two more with SDSU. The Rockets are now 9-10.

They did not pitch Hunt today. She will probably win a couple of games this week, but unless someone else can get the ball past a few bats it could be a very long week.
