RE: Corvid-19 & the 2020 FBS Season
Travel between China and US is closed for the time bean, don't confuse legal movement between countries around the world with illegal travel between countries around the world... HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!

Every country has a right to protect it's borders and that include the US!!

Italy has had open borders, not knowing who has entered and who hasn't. We don't have as much an issue with open borders thankfully, although it's still a problem.

More than 300 Chinese nationals have been apprehended trying to illegally enter the United States through the southern border in 2020. That is a fact that might/should scare Americans. After all, China is where the virus originated from.

Close the southern border!

Many more chinese nationals and US Citizen tourists go to and from china via air travel too. Let's close all the aiports!

The president did, for that region of danger, early on. It helped but can't/didn't stop them all. Why do you think airline stocks have plummeted? In many cases self travel bans by many concerned US citizens.

Please show me where the president banned all international travel from China.

The president banned some travel to China and the airlines canceled flights to most of the rest of China, it turns out that money trumps bad political decisions.

As soon as this Corona Virus is under control "LEGAL" travel between the 2 countries as well as others will resume.

Here are a bunch of flights from Shanghai to Philly for next Friday. You're right though, a couple of layovers and the virus will be probably be too fed-up to come here.

All stocks have plummeted. Check the dow.

Also, here are some flights from Wuhan to SF.

I'm sure the virus will be wiped out within a couple of weeks when these flights are scheduled. Your opinions are for sure correct.

The major International US airports are both best prepared to control the spread of the virus and the most at risk to spread it as well.

I was inn a hospital ER last week and I was only asked about travel to China and no other country or US city such as Kirkland Washington.

My hope is that Airports, Doctors, and Hospitals as more specific and relevant questions regarding domestic and International travel in order to protect all who live here in this wonderful country of ours.

RE: Corvid-19 & the 2020 FBS Season
I see a huge surge in cases over the next 2-3 months and then huge drops and eventually a vaccine within 6 months which will eventually help the common cold as well.

It's the same virus just a different/new strain.

With all the Test kits being shipped all over the country the number of cases will rapidly increase as more people will be tested.

See above posts. Flights from China aren't hard to get, just expensive. Wuhan included.

Ironically those test kits will lower the percentage of deaths per case confirmed. It's sad people are dying but at least we will have a better understanding the risk.

So what you're saying is we weren't prepared, and we're about to find all of the cases we should have known about.

It is ever changing as the administration tried to get a handle on things. Perhaps I used the wrong word of "banning" instead of restrictions". Here was the initial "restrictions" posted in the NYT.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/31/busin...virus.html

No one said it's an easy solution or one stop solutions are out there. But I still feel safe as should most hopefully healthy Americans.

You got that from that post? No, it will actually show the true death rate is much lower than the reported 3+% that is currently reported.

It will be closer to the less than 1 % that the common flu yields today. That leaves the questions, have we not been prepared for the 25K to 75K deaths per year for the common flu all these years?

Yes, the talking heads have been comparing the corona virus to Influenza, where it is actually same as the common cold until people begin to have respiratory issues, then hospitalization is required in order to recover.

... And I don't agree that it will only be 1% or less death rate Scientifically that sounds about right, but realistically it will be higher due to the learning curve of identifying a new strain of the Corona virus and how to best manage it.

No one is arguing about easy solutions or one-stop solutions. You created that after you retreated from your travel ban lies. Thanks for finally being honest.

Yeah, China is for-sure over-reporting the death rate of this.

Actually you just lied what I said. Here's the entire post -->

"The president did, for that region of danger, early on. It helped but can't/didn't stop them all. Why do you think airline stocks have plummeted? In many cases self travel bans by many concerned US citizens.".

I said, self travel bans. Tell me where the lie is. Are you trying to say I lied about people NOT doing self travel bans. I know people who said that they will not travel to China. Prove me wrong!
