Big game tomorrow against Bill and Gary at Kaplan Arena for the Lady Dukes. Wife and I are still in FL watching the Nats otherwise we would be at the game ROOTIN!! Will be trying to watch via FLO.

W&M is in 3rd place in the CAA with 21 wins so this will be a tough game. They are playing well and the Dukes will have a tough match at their arena. Looking forward to a tough win for the Dukes heading into the CAA Tournament next week.

The annual BJK Hyper roadshow takes a diversion from Philly to hit Williamsburg tomorrow. I leave it to Hyper to decide if he wants to commit to the minute-by-minute account of tomorrow’s pregame festivities.

Friday was good. Berrett’s was delicious & I got to watch BJK eat an entire cheesecake.

Not that it really matters, but can you explain the tiebreaker? I thought that by virtue of our loss to Towson being better in the CAA than Drexel’s loss to Charleston, we’d have the tiebreaker. But I haven’t really looked deep enough to know.

Tiebreaker starts with the record against third place team and continues until one team has better record. Drexel won today so even with a win today we should be second seed.

Correct. First tie-breaker is head-to-head and since Drexel and JMU split it goes to comparative records against the next highest seed which would be W&M. With both teams sweeping W&M (assuming we go on to win this game today), it then goes to the next highest seed and so forth.

With our loss at Towson making us 1-1 against them and Drexel being 2-0, the Dragons break the tie ahead of us.

FWIW, W&M is the 3-seed no matter the outcome of this game against JMU.

Just watched the replay of the game on FLO. Slow start for the Dukes but they turned it on after the 1st quarter. Good D overall kept W&M in check. Seems that Hodgson and Reynolds are the only scorers for the Pride. Keep them under control seems to be the path to beating them.

The Dukes will play the winner of the Elon/Hofstra game on Thursday. Wife and I will be there to watch the Thursday games and the semis and finals also.
