Signature Wins of Our Last Four MBB Coaches
Trying to figure out what were Sherm, Keener, Brady and Lou Rowe's signature wins (knowing that Lou's signature win could happen between now and our exit out of the CAA Tournament).

This is going to be a depressing reality check. Our signature win(s) would be routine wins for VCU, UR, GMU or ODU- basically, our old conference mates.

A Brady team beat VCU at VCU the year the Rams were a Final 4 team. Should/could have sweep the regular season too by winning in the Convo against VCU except for some really lousy calls/non-calls by refs.

Sherm? Couldn’t tell you. Was checked out and off the grid for most of that.
Keener, likely the home FeceU game? When he jumped on the mic afterward? There were so few, was that also the student body left game?
Brady I’d have to say the W to send us to the tourney for just the first time in a gazillion yrs. yea, a depleted, deflated CAA, but still a great atmosphere, fun game, great postgame celebration. That and WMgt still didn’t make it.
Rowe? I guess beating the Seagulls twice. El O El
My goodness, the sadness

Rowe's best wins have probably been the win @ ODU even though we nearly lost in tragic fashion, the road OT win at Hofstra and the home win last year vs Charleston.
I remember Keener's JMU team taking Seton Hall to overtime at the Convo but then losing- it wasn't today's Seton Hall program but still that was a near big home win- I think they played GTown (again not a vintage GTown team) close as well.

I dont want to derail this thread, but I have far more memories of losses defining Rowe’s tenure than wins.
I will never forget the loss to WM a few years ago where we were up 20+ and lost. I had never seen a team and coach crumble in such a way. He lost his cool and owned up to it at least.
If there were any signature wins I would say ODU or ECU... and thats not saying much.

Brady without a doubt was beating Northeastern for NCAA BID. It was first year I truly started following JMU and played a role in my daughter attending JMU. What a great moment.

Brady Signature Wins- vs Seton Hall in his first season, @ Liberty in CIT, Richmond (couple of times ), Mason (once OOC), Marshall (twice in one season) at VCU in Conference the year they went to the Final Four, @ GW in the OOC; W&M, Delaware and Northeastern on his way to NCAA, LIU in First 4, @USF (I believe JMU starting getting top 25 votes for a short time that season)
Brady Signature Losses- vs ODU in CIT (lost by 40) , to UNCW and top of conference multiple times (prevented Dukes from getting over the hump and finishing as a top 3 seed). Losses his last two seasons to Hofstra and W&M in CAAT after beating both to close the regular season. Davidson in CBI, USC Upstate in CIT, Back to back trouncings by Valpo in OOC,

Keener lost the OT game at Seton Hall. His first team won at VCU before losing to the same team by 27 at home five days later.
