if it is true that we owe Lou Rowe 325K whether he's our coach tomorrow or he coaches until April 2021, our admin needs to make a statement by terminating HCLR. If this isn't the direction they want our program to go then make that clear.

Wilmington and their new coach just beat Charleston as a 13 point underdog.

Glad we are on the same page on this now.

We would be 0-9 but UNCW fortunately fired their coach after we beat them. They had to fire their coach after losing to us. By the way, UNCW won at Charleston today.

And Towson won at mighty W&M

The conference is up for grabs and if we can get the new coach to get a win or two and confidence in these guys, then you never know.

I was shocked to see JMU laying a point on the road. Never like betting against our guys, but this was too good to pass up. Being crappy can be profitable...looking on the bright side I guess. Maybe I can make some money back to cover for the costs of tickets for my much better half and I this season. *SIGH*

You have to look at the young men that he is recruiting and what that team will look like to get a full sense of what the future of the program looks like. It’s absolutely imperative to evaluate any individual or coaching staff.

“As far as this year’s concerned, we certainly want to right the ship and win games, but I have not mandated to him — and won’t — that they win x number of games.”

Bourne's email gets routed to I assume his admin to review before he sees it based upon the email on the JMUSports.com website.

He does have a Twitter account with his last post on the 12th of January.

I agree a message needs to be sent. We're going to be paying Lou Rowe anyway for the 2020-2021 season might as well get a jump on finding his replacement.

Interestingly enough when I sent an email inquiring about the Ikenberry hire versus going after one of O'Connor's assistants in CVille, Jeff Bourne responded back to me and Cc'd Charlie King. Granted he did say it came down to compensation among other things.

We could be in full command of last place by multiple games and this admin still wouldn't fire him. In fact, don't be shocked if they keep him around for another year. There are morons in the admin that actually believe he is still the guy. Proof? Last year King was STILL supporting him after the results.
IMO he should have been fired last year and every game just validates what so many of us believed: Rowe cannot coach and no level of talent will ever change that.

With Elon's win over us and UNCW's upset win at Charleston today, the Dukes can enjoy sole possession of the basement in the CAA. Dead last by ourselves now.

Did Rowe show up for the postgame radio show? Well, not that anybody cares to listen I realize. Dumb question I admit.
