Would have loved for him to go to South, but he was injured the second game of this season and missed the rest of it. So we are happy with any attention he is getting. He has recovered, it was a foot injury.

If it's out of state it's not worth it.. I had a few friends put themselves in massive debt with nothing to show for it just to play baseball in college at a d3 school.

Private schools do not have in-state vs out-of-state tuition since they are not state tax supported. BSC is an excellent college in the same academic category as Millsaps, Centre, Rhodes, Davidson, etc. Their foray into scholarship athletics a few years back nearly wrecked them financially. They do offer student athletes academic scholarships as they qualify and of course need based financial aid. The BSC-UAB cooperative nursing program sounds like an excellent opportunity. The science courses at BSC in preparation for the UAB nursing program will be top notch. Because of the time demanding clinical assignments aspect of the nursing program, football at UAB even as a walk-on after BSC would be ill advised IMO.
