No they are still in at 22. Coogs finally in at 21.
AP Top 25 Monday Jan 20, 2020
I think the list is from Gary Parrish and not the AP or Coaches Polls.

Yes, I am noticing the discrepency now between that site and the "real" AP... saw the "AP" in the heading. Well I was hoping Wheaties would still be ranked.

No. 20 #Memphis and No. 25 #Houston represent The American in the Week 12 AP Top 25, along with #WichitaState receiving votes at No. 26.

Ranking of Resumes and my thoughts on Tournament Quality
Solid Tournament Quality
WSU - 6-3 Q1/Q2, no bad losses
Houston - 6-3 Q1/Q2, 1 bad loss (for now OSU)
Tournament Quality
Memphis - 3-3 Q1/Q2, no bad losses
Right now off the bubble
Temple - 3-6 Q1/Q2, 1 bad loss
Cincy - 3-5 Q1/Q2, 2 bad losses
Tulsa - 2-4 Q1/Q2, 2 bad losses
UConn - 2-5 Q1/Q2, 2 bad losses
Don't think anyone else has a chance barring a huge run. SMU has a good NET but no Q1/Q2 wins and 1 Q3 loss.
Tulane interesting is 3-4 in Q2 but 0-3 in Q3 ...
Looking at some projections it looks like four teams dancing, three solidly in and one more who is just in. The projections only go to the end of the regular season. Two teams will have opportunities to get some wins and get in, or both and the just in team could lose first round and be out.
SMU, Temple, and Cincy will be fighting it out for that fourth spot it looks like.
Tulsa is the wild card here. Every game except @Houston and @Wichita is a two possesion prediction. Win the right one of those and avoid any bad losses and they could be bubblish.
Tournament in Ft Worth will be important and should be intense. I think we get five in. The four who should be pretty safe and someone who makes a conference tourney run.
I don't see it with SMU .. Not unless they manage to pick up several quality wins in conference. To be Mid January without a single quality win is not good.

That's kind what I mean by get going (no more ECUs) and the right wins (Houston, Wichita, Memphis). They have the longest shot (well besides tulsa) buy a 12-6 or 13-5 with a couple of the right wins means they probably end up just the right side of the line with a solid tourney run. Temple has the ooc if they can get the ship righted I think they have a much better shot. 12-6 and a run to the semis or finals in Ft. Worth gets them in. That's the best opportunity for us to get five, Tenple opposite Cincy in the brackets, both in the low 50s and win two or three games. Barring a collapse I think Memphis, Houston and Wichita are in, although we may be seeing a Wichita slide I think they get it fixed.

Wichita is doing our part to help the conference out. Handing out those quality wins to those teams that underachieved in the non-con. :)

Not sound greedy, but Tulsa will gladly take two of those today and happily pay you next Tuesday.
I expect looking at who everyone has, we end up with three ranked for the rest of the season with a big flourish of some top 25 match ups towards the end of the season.

This seems to be Temple’s MO in recent years, win some big games OOC, build some buzz, then fall back to the middle of the pack in conference. Any idea why this has become a recurring theme? Coaching? Injuries?

Yeah, but we have seen this song and dance before from Temple. Pick up the win against Nova and make sure you lock up the W with Penn and we'll talk again because then its four probable bids and a fifth possible.

Not meant as a "song & dance," because at #83 NET, Temple (10-7) is far from being a likely NCAA bubble team at present.
Having lost 4 of their last 6 games, the Owls can't even be expected to make their way into the NIT.
They have 14 games to play, and would have to go 9-5 the rest of the way to win even 19 games. The way things have been going for them lately, they might not finish with more than 16 wins.
