I suspect our game will be the antithesis of this one: a low-scoring slugfest. Word is that SDSU's best RB is out, along with our #1 TE. If we play like we did in the MAC CG, we'll probably lose. If we play like we did most of the season at home, we have a shot.

Now I’m torn between wanting CMU to lose and wanting the MAC to keep rolling.

So the team that was most often a pre-season pick to "maybe do a little better than last year, but probably not top .500" ended the season 7-6.

Good thing Kent State was the underdog in that game ... we've had more than a little some practice winning games as the underdog, this year.

Flew home to visit family for the holidays yesterday, but was able to catch the last bit of the Buffalo game at Detroit Metro while I waited for my connecting flight and watched the Kent State game once I arrived at my destination.
