Is there a MAC team which hasn't won a bowl game?

Some haven't won in a long time (e.g., EMU 1987).

No one can tell me that there are meaningless bowl games after seeing the faces of the Kent State players after that game

It's usually fans of the losing teams or teams that don't make a bowl that say that.

I know because that's me most years.

I know it was said on the telecast that this was Buffall's first bowl win, was this also KSU's first as well?

A few weeks back when UB had that final 7 minute meltdown at Kent State, that was the worst feeling. It’s amazing how everything worked out. Both teams took care of business after that, earned postseason games and both won their first ever Bowl games. Pretty cool.

Not to mention the fact that both of these bowl wins were the first ever in school history for both Buffalo and Kent State.

On a side note, I find it somewhat amusing that both Ohio and Kent State got their first bowl win in school history against Utah State. If there is any MAC school that doesn't have a bowl win yet, just make sure to go to a bowl game where Utah State has been selected to be your opponent. lol

So three MAC teams all got their first bowl win against Utah State. lol

Also, I have to correct my previous post. In one day, the MAC has already matched their bowl win total for the last THREE bowl seasons combined.

Two East Division squads have given us a strong start. It's up to the rest of the conference teams to keep it rolling.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that the Conference COULD do as well as 5 - 2.

I believe the tangent reason is that wasn't yesterday first bowl wins for UB and Kent State?

What a season for Sean Lewis and Kent State. He stepped into a bad situation with a murderer's row in non-conference, then a good start to MAC season followed by a few tough losses, and they found a way to come back late against UB and pull out a few other wins. Hope the Flashes keep up the momentum, so long as it's not against Miami.

Utah State also gave NMSU their first bowl win in like 50 years. The team they beat that long ago? Utah State: For All Your Hexbreaking Needs.

CMU should’ve played on Friday when the MAC Bowl mojo was at an all time high.

I thought the MAC West was best.

that was pretty much the ballgame. He missed the wide open guy, then tried to drop that one into double coverage. That was all on the qb, not the play call. Even if you chuck it away, you've hardly taken any time and lost no yards.

Yeah, I think we all saw why he didn't last at Tennessee. Dormady has the physical tools, but the decision-making is sometimes an issue. Still a good season for us though.
