I don't see how they can not afford to send. All the other MAC and state schools in Ohio go to their bowls, even Idaho. It would really hurt recruiting and even luring in perspective coaches in the future if we don't send the team to a game they earned.

This program has to move on from the 1 to 3 wins per year standard. KSU needs this program to finish 8 years out of every decade in the 5-7 win range and get to 3 or more bowl games every decade. This will move the program from 'horrible' to 'normal'.

I kind of disagree with you. Yes, he bar needs to be raised, but I think further than that. There's no reason we can't go 6-6 yearly. Even if we don't always get a bowl bid. Our conference usually sucks enough and enough of our losses the past few years have come on last play/ last drive situations.

Idaho and schools like them have Huge corporate sponsors they can count on. Potato Industry, Micron Technology , etc.
WMU has Pfizer, Miami Ohio, Cintas. Toledo, numerous large companies.
Kent ?? Name a huge corporate Athletics sponsor? Development lacking
Always has been this way. Admin will likely find the money for bowl game, it will take awhile to see where funding comes from.

The MAC helps subsidize and Arizona State, Wisconsin and Auburn kicked in the rest.

FedEx has also donated a lot of money to the school and they have a few higher ups that are Kent State alums.

I'm going to get nauseated if they talk about these 4 same teams until 3:00.

The NCAA Tourney show is only 1 hour. How is there more to discuss with this? The games have been over for a week.

Ridiculous waste of time. Why start with the playoff teams and have zero build up to it. Announce the other bowls then announce the playoffs.

They probably know the casual football fan turned this off by now and switched on an NFL game.

They apparently can't announce until after 3pm when they release the final top 25.

A lot of “pundits” are saying Camellia Bowl, but I still think Idaho.
