Heck of a ball game. Glad to see our seniors go out with the win and finish our time at Ladd with a win. Saw some things that give me hope for next season if we keep our current coaching staff, and I haven’t heard anything saying that we aren’t keeping them.

Wasn’t the season that we expected, but it’s what we got. Good luck to stAte in their bowl game, be glad that you get a bowl. Not the way you want to end the season, but it isn’t your guys last game. Your seniors and your season can still end with a win.

Yeah. I rate this as the 2nd worst loss since 2009. UCA qualifies as worse even though they were better than you guys

At some point going 7-6 every year becomes unacceptable

And just think, both losses were Campbell coached teams. 04-cheers

I'm like 90% convinced he lost all of those games this year just to embarrass us as much as possible.

Congrats USA. A long miserable season ends with a nice win. If USA s offense has played like this all year it would have been a very different year

Well it's not every week you get to play the 126th-ranked defense.

So who would stAte fan want to replace Anderson with??? And careful, you know what a wrong hire can do to a G5 team, as well as teams from Arkansas.

That's why although I am disappointed, I am not on the fire Anderson bandwagon yet. We could easily go back to the under .500 days. With that said, I am not wasting my time and money going to our bowl game.

That’s the thing. I’m not sure I trust mohajir to make a good hire. He hasn’t instilled a lot of confidence lately with his decision making

Though to be honest. Watching App win 11 with our old assistant isn’t helping matters

It’s Ladd Stadium. The Ladd scoreboard system doesn’t integrate with the ESPN infrastructure. So in essence we have the game clock in the stadium and a separate one that mirrors that one that is used for any telecasts. When ESPN broadcasts from there it’s more seamless because they have more resources,, but it’s an issue for our ESPN+ broadcasts. With that said, this will not be an issue next year in Hancock Whitney Stadium.

The funny thing is, we’re averaging 1 more win a year than we did under Roberts, and he often had 5 home games a quarter the budget and played multiple P5s a year

Anderson’s contract expires after next season. I’m not sure he survives next season without a conference title or an 8-9 win year minimum

No scoreboard integration is needed to activate the little yellow alert that a flag has been thrown.

That was a seriously awesome game. For a 1-10 team, South Alabama fans were loud as hell and jumping around. Those “U-S-A!” chants near the end. Felt like a bowl game. Great fans!

Arkansas St brought a decent contingent on the other side of the stadium.

Was a little worried driving in when the traffic guard said cash parking is pretty much the lawns as the neighborhood looked sketchy. Turns out there was nothing to worry about. Mobile was first class in supplying cop cars and traffic controllers in the blocks surrounding the stadium. Felt completely safe.

I’m a sucker for vintage stadiums but Ladd-Peebles is due for the bulldozer. Can’t imagine how those concourses fit the Auburn or Alabama crowds back in the day. Loved the Ladd Peebles tribute video at halftime!

Mobile is a hidden gem with friendly people. Can’t wait to check out Whitney Hancock on a future Black Friday.

The older scoreboard (on the railroad track side) was dysfunctioning at one point and flashing random scores/times lol.

We didn’t have down and yards to go either. And the first half the timeout bubbles were all wrong. Hopefully a lot of that gets cleaned up for next season.

I’m hoping for good big things once we get on campus.

Mobile is a wonderful place that I would love to go back to. I think about going every time we play at USA.

I like a good old stadium as much as anybody, but yeah Ladd ain't that. It's just an old dump in a bad area. Glad that the Jags are getting their own stadium, and maybe I'll come down in a couple years when we play there again.

It went out completely during the game. What you saw was the scoreboard re-initializing. Haha.

I think there's some law which prohibits Ladd Peebles from being demolished on the account of it being a Confederate memorial or something to that extent. Hopefully once USA goes to greener pastures the city will fix it up for the bowl games it still hosts.

As for Mobile, I heard nothing but praise for the city and its citizens when we went down there for the Dollar General Bowl a few years back. I didn't go but I heard enough feedback to conclude it's a genuine good-natured city.
