There aren't a lot of coaching options. You'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Have you not seen what we've become? We're already looking up at the bottom of the barrel. Honestly, I'd take Rich Rod right now and not look back over what we've become.

On a quasi-related note - any chance you think Mizzou sniffs around Heupel? He was the OC there when you guys hired him to replace Frost. I suspect no - they probably want to completely move away from the Barry Odom era...

Given all the **** talking Mizzou folks did after he left, I doubt he’s interested. If we respond with another big year next year, he’ll be in on elite jobs not middle tier like Mizzou. Plus they’re spending about $10m on buyouts, and he’d cost them another $10.

Most QBs show their biggest improvement from year 1 to year 2. Dillon Gabriel is poised to have a great 2020 season after leading UCF to a 9-4/10-3 record his true freshman year.

All the Heupel hype will be after next season, imo.

Nothing like putting up Christmas lights for 5 hours to take the sting out of the hellhole that USF football has become. I'm sore, tired, and angry after multiple squabbles with my wife about "you need to climb back up because that strand isn't hanging straight down." Was secretly hoping for an early present when I got done, but no such luck.

I Fa-la-la-la-facking hate putting up the Christmas lights.

Bah-humbug. Strong has me feeling like a combination of Scrooge and the Grinch right now.

Never knew that. Given how well they did after Heupel left - sounds like karma won out (again).

Agree. While I don't blame DG for any of the losses (team effort, especially OL to suck on all of them), I nevertheless think we win all three games with a more experienced QB. Lots of talent returning next year...if DG takes a big step forward, NY6 will be a realistic expectation again.

Half of this is correct. I'll let you figure out which one.

If a change is going to be made, please hurry, USF. We are sick and tired of this.

They can't afford a buyout. Probably after next season they will have to take the financial hit.

I think tomorrow is the likely deadline to hear of Strong getting fired. If not, he likely stays.

Think Memphis was in that position in both MBB & FB at one time or another (Porter & Tubby) but soon realized the attendance difference would play the buyouts with the right hires.

We're trying to wait until after signing day to hold onto Strong's recruiting class.

What does that even mean? Thousands of coaches out there better than strong. Not gonna knock on your door. Do some work and go find one!
