Well, that link just proves how incredibly worthless RPI is at this stage of the season. It lists JMU (!!) as #13 in RPI with a Strength of Schedule (SOS) of #1. It lists W&M as RPI # 135 and SOS #269.

JMU beat Charlotte, at home (and Div-III Shenandoah, which does not factor into RPI) and lost to UVa and George Mason on the road.

W&M beat Hampton at home and beat Wofford, American, and High Point on the road, and lost to Oklahoma on the road. So, a road win against Wofford and a road loss to Oklahoma should definitely equal out or exceed road losses to UVa and GMU. Two other road wins for W&M (and a home win) should exceed a home win over Charlotte for JMU. There certainly should not be a difference of #1 vs #269 in SOS!! Geez.

I also do not take that link seriously when they list our league as "Coln" instead of "CAA". They list the Atlantic Coast Conference as ACC so they just show their ignorance when they write Coln instead of CAA. It just continually blows me away when national sports reporters don't even do their due diligence to know that one of the only 32 leagues in the country calls itself the CAA.

MBB Game 5 - @ Oklahoma
We were the better team for 36 minutes. Hard to believe. Crazy that I’m really disappointed we didn’t have a good last 4 minutes and get the W. But this team is legit and really fun to watch. Let’s see if we can keep it up tomorrow night.

I loved Dane’s remarks after the game. All he seems to care about is being better than the day before. His even-keel is great for this team.

Go Tribe!

They call the MAC Midam and the SoCon South. There are plenty of things to get incensed over as a Tribe sports fan, how a data site lists our conference isn't one of them.

I still think that it is incense-worthy. It is just another indicator of how our league gets no respect --- which, of course, always carries over to NCAAT seeding time. Leagues like ours will never get any national respect if the national media can't even be bothered to get the name right.

(BTW, you might be right about plenty of other things to get incensed about as a Tribe sports fan --- but at least this is one thing that we can all agree on --- whereas so many other topics are polarizing).
