Massey Composite after week 8
Here's where the G5 teams stand as far as Massey Composite.
The Sun Belt is still unanimously higher than the MAC and CUSA thanks to having UL and App so high and only having 1 team in the bottom 15 of the G5.

Best team in the MAC would bearly make the G5 top 25.
Nearly half of CUSA is in the bottom quartile.
14 of the top 20 are AAC and MW.

The way you phrased this post reminds me of every election night, a couple of late-reporting urban precincts found just enough extra ballots behind a filing cabinet to alter the results ever so slightly.

Lol... FWIW, the differences in means between both App and Louisiana and those above and below them lead me to believe that App will finish this week at 17 or 18 and Louisiana at 42 or 43. Both have too big a gap to make up to move up, and both have sufficient cushion to maintain at worst 1 below their current position.
