We've yet to play a complete game this year. I do think that the final score will be something like 31-28, 28-24, 31-27, 33-30, 28-27, 27-24, 34-31...it's almost a coin-flip who will win.
It would be nice if we could have a 100 yard rusher to chew up some of the clock in this game, but the only guy that can do that is probably still hurt. I am hoping our defensive backs don't give up too many big plays to Fine.
My gut tells me UNT is going to exploit our deficiancies (DBs), but my heart tells me our defensive line is going to show up and get some serious pressure on Fine.

My gut is telling me we are setting ourselves up for a "TTT" moment. Getting some momentum going, should be one of our better CUSA attended games in years, perfect weather and what seems like a 50/50 winnable game.......so my heart is telling me we will lose a tight high scoring battle that will have lots of scoring early on and then in the 4th we won't be able to score.
Man ol' boy who wrote that article looks like Malcolm in the Middle aged alot but never got any bigger.
That's just mean.... How about a comment about the substance of the article? Do you think his assessment is accurate?
Sorry.. Trying to make a joke, apparently you don't laugh..
Do I think the assessment is right? Yea.. If USM comes out firing on all cylinders, could be a long night for UNT.. But the chances of that happening are about 50/50.

No worries. I just know Brett and he is a decent guy. Thanks for the assessment.
Here is another article, with Patrick Magee's opinion of the match-up.

Damn guys, show a little positivity. DQ Thomas is going to give Fine hell all game long. Boothe and Coker are back. Jack is playing lights out. I expect Watkins to put on a show.

We got this.
I think Usm wins fairly easily. Sure hope, bc we may be at 15,000 attendance the rest of the games ourselves with a loss.

Just curious... why do you think USM wins this game easily?
