The Free parking for ULM is about the same distance you'd walk for a Memphis game if you decided to park in Cooper/Young and walk to the stadium.

It's not far unless you are not used to long walks to football games.

Is tailgating allowed in the $10 parking is my next question. Can you whip out a 10x10 tent and a charcoal grill and fire that bad boy up? And if so, are there "coal disposal services" or do you have to put all your used ashes back in your SUV like the AllState commercial? BOOM....

The furthest you may have to walk would be about 3/4 of a mile and that would be from the very edge of the parking lot the furthest away from Malone Stadium. Not sure about grilling in the $10 parking area behind the stadium but you can definitely put up a table and eat. Plenty of space between rows.

Where is this free parking close to the stadium? I was the one who said it was 1+ miles, because it’s pretty close to that getting from the other side of the bayou all the way around the stadium to the visitors’ section.

Free parking starts across the bridge where the library is located. Johnny’s pizza is a mile. It can be up to a mile plus if you park way far away. It’s about .4-.5 miles . For most spots.

Walking around to the students/visitors gate is enough to make the walk close to a mile. I just mapped it and the walk from the parking lot by Strauss is 0.8 miles. For the Grambling game I walked from my apartment that’s pretty close to Johnny’s and that’s 1.3 miles.
