Hope so for your fans sake. Nothing against Houston but they seem to make horrible decisions. Great for a few years then it falls apart because either they were cheating to reach that success, or some other calamity. Not saying that's what's going on now but something is not right.

The problem with Houston is that they have a billionaire running the program. It’s great to have a wealthy donor for facilities, salaries and the like but it’s a double edged sword if the school lets him make decisions because he’s the biggest donor. Firing Applewhite was a mistake, it shows Houston will not give a coach a chance and Dana will not turn out to be what the fanbase expected. Then what? Back to square one. If you’re a P5 school, you can run that risk but not if you’re a G5 wealthy donor or not.

I completely agree about the treatment of Applewhite. Tough to complain about coaches leaving you after two years when you wont give a guy a fair shake. I thought we should have fired the Defensive Coordinator and given Major another year. Is what it is now. I've been majorly underwhelmed by Dana so far. Guess we'll see what happens s next year after the tank job. We barely beat FCS caliber UConn today so odds are slim that we win another game. Our admins said they'd fire a coach for going 8-4, guess they never said anything about 3-9.

App. St. and Boise are clearly better than any team in the AAC. Hell, Boise was playing their backup QB tonight.

Boise looses by two to BYU. SMU still perfect at 7-0.

All we have to do now is wait for this weeks polls to come out to see who gets the nod for the week.

Appy State has to play @South Carolina, @Ga State, and @Troy...plus the conf champ game. if they finish 13-0 they will have earned the Access Bowl.
