Go Cards! Auburn has a chance to end the season for the 3rd of the 3 ACC teams who were selected to host regionals. Hopefully, UofL will take care of business and stay alive.

4 - 1 Cards up, rain delay in top of 5th.

I can't get this confirmed, but I think that the Vandy - Miss State game that was scheduled for tonight has already been moved to tomorrow. And that MAYBE ... the Cards can resume their game around 10 pm tonight at the earliest.

Glad we have some depth with our pitching. And am happy as hell to have the lead.

Just read that the rain delayed game will resume tomorrow.

Thanks. I think that's a smart move. I know they'd prefer to get games in and not get too backed up, but to ask the teams to crank it back up after their engines have been cooled for this long seems a bit unfair. Go Cards!

2 SEC teams gone from CWS.

Cards will face another one -- the loser of the Vandy - Miss State game. I think it's scheduled for tomorrow night, at 7 or 8 ... but the rain has me unsure of the actual schedule.

I know Florida State will play later tonight against Texas Tech. Go Noles!!

Vandy, who for my money has been the best team all season, is in the driver’s seat at 2-0.

I’m excited as I booked a flight this afternoon and am headed to Omaha tomorrow morning. I enjoyed the CWS experience last June as a neutral observer of Oregon St v Washington. I couldn’t pass up the chance to see my Cards at the CWS though. Beat the Dawgs!

FSU scheduled to play tonight at 7:50. Congrats to the Cards for staying alive.

FSU and TT tied in the 6th inning 1-1. FSU is now 0-13 with RISP in the CWS. Bad time to go into a slump.

Thank you, Mike Martin. Class act all the way. Kind of reminds me of other legendary ACC coaches such as Bobby Cremins, Dick Sheridan, and Bones McKinney in the sense that you never heard a derogatory word about him. Even if for whatever reason you may dislike Florida State, fans would look at MM and say "he's a good guy".

Any season that ends in Omaha is a very successful season. Wish MM could've gotten that ring, but his record is one that will be very difficult to even come close to might as well surpass.

Is it just me, or is Texas Tech extremely "hateable" (there I go again, with all that hate talk ) ?

I listened to the radio broadcast all the way to the bitter end. The pitching was spectacular from the regionals to the CWS. The Supers was an unforgettable nail biter and will go down as one of the most legendary performances in FSU history. Thank you again 11, you were the best.

For those that really follow baseball, and know the sport .... should we be rooting for rain? The forecast is apparently iffy ... Vandy is well rested being 2 and 0 in the winner's bracket. The Cards bull pen, while deep, has obviously had more action than Vandy's.

Does a rain out help the Cards? Or does the momentum of last night's comeback get blunted with a rain out?
