Cajuns win first game of the two game midweek series with Southeastern 8-2 on Tuesday night. Two freshmen, Logan Savoy (6.2) & Connor Cooke (2.1) give up three hits and 2 unearned run.

Game two tonight in Hammond.

Ya'll don't need any help this year. We'll be a large underdog this weekend after State took 2/3 from Coastal last weekend.

And dropped 2 mid-week games this week to Southern Illinois and Memphis State. Somebody needs to tell our guys that all these games count. I think we're back down in the 70s in RPI now.

Turns out we only went nine in a 9-8 win. The way things have gone this year we'll take it. Hopefully the weather holds out this weekend for the series. It won't be a field concern as we have turf except for the mound but I'd rather not watch games dodging rain.
