At least this year's App team is respectable in Sun Belt play.

Ha. Thought yall would like that little jab.
You guys look much improved though. Young weekend rotation that could be really good in a year or two. Drumheller is the real deal in the lineup. Nice to see a more competitive App this year. Though I'd be much happier with another sweep...

Just what ULM needed— a terribly inconsistent GS squad rolls in to Monroe.

Looks like things happened the way I hoped they would. Now on to Mississippi State Wednesday and Georgia State this weekend, both on the road.

I doubt we even win the series.

Hey Chiefsfan I already have a tiebreaking question already.
If two teams are tied atop a division, is the tie broken against the other teams in the division or against the whole conference?
For instance, this week, A-State and UTA are tied atop the west and haven't played yet. Would the next tie-breaker be combined record vs. Coastal/TXST or would it go to just TXST first then down to LR, UL, ULM.
I know once the division champs are crowned the rest of the tiebreakers are against the entire conference, but not sure yet on determining division champs.

First tiebreaker is head to head then is record against each team starting at 1 seed. Head to head only can be tied in case of rain out, so I don’t usually pay attention to 2nd tiebreaker for divisional games

Right. Odds of head-to-head not breaking a tie very unlikely.
But because they first determine divisional champs before determining a 1 seed how would the tie-breaking process work to determine a divisional champ if they do somehow tie? Would it be broken vs. teams only within the division or within the entire conference? At that point in the tie-breaking process there is no 1 seed yet if divisional champs haven't been declared.

The Website isn't exactly clear on it, but it reads best Overall league record, so it would be against the next best team regardless of division.

TXST smokes UTSA 14-1 tonight to improve to 19-10 overall.
Looks like some teams have a shot at good wins tonight:
Troy already beat Alabama.
USA leads Southern Miss 8-6 in the 8th.
UTA and TCU tied 1-1 in the 8th.
Little Rock up 7-6 on Arkansas in the 6th.

We got caught up in our own press and lost to a Southern Illinois team that threw its weekend staff against us 4-3

South Alabama beat Southern Miss 15-6. We were down 5-0 after the first inning and outscored them 15-1 over the last 8 innings.

Little Rock scored 5 in the 7th to make it 12-6 over Arkansas. I'd tell you how it happened, but there's been um "Technical Difficulties" with the piglets radio broadcast. So, everyone somehow missed most of it.
I'm sure it was a complete accident...
