This is a nice win to keep building on. The team is peaking at the right time. Hopefully they can keep making some noise in the tournament.

Agreed. Great to see a UC team winning in May. Watching Bearcat baseball this season, it appeared to me that Coach Googins was really close to having a team that could challenge in this very tough baseball conference.

Winning is always good news for all UC sports. But when I see UCF and Houston competing for conference honors in football, basketball and baseball it reminds me of the importance of strong athletics across the athletic department to stay in the spotlight for future conference realignment.

My goodness, the AAC tournament has started out almost as best as it possibly could for the Bat Cats. Hopefully, they won't pull a Cronin and blow this great opportunity.

A win against Tulane today would put them in the semi finals at 2-0. They would have to lose twice to the other semi finalist to get eliminated otherwise its off to the Championship game. With there no chance of playing ECU until the finals , anything can happen . But , one at a time....

(a loss to Tulane and they would play UCF tomorrow in the 1-1 game to get to the semis)

I dont know if it's still the case, but there was an infographic on the AACbbs shared by a Tulane fan that showed they were #1 in the conference in EVERY offensive category and in the Top 10 Nationally in all but one of them.

Like Mark said, Tulane is loaded. Kody Hoese (AAC POY) is awesome. Team BA % .305. Team Slugging % of .526. Pitching not so much, but still a little better than the Cats.

Tulane liked their bracket, too.
