Arkansas State, you're up next, and Saturday night's alright for fighting (for the middle of the SBC pack)...
I hope you guys show up Saturday Night...we might have a chance then. (Game's in the afternoon)

That is probably the first time I have ever seen a player get called for a Technical Foul with less than 1 second left in a 1 point game...

We miss Ike Smith badly and it looks like he is out for the rest of the year after back surgery. We shot awfully tonight. I was impressed with UTA playing under control and usually getting good shots. Us not so much

Hats off to the Bobcats. It isn't often teams win in the Sports Arena like that. Kaspar has always been a good coach and now he's got the talent to do something with it.
See y'all in NOLA.

No dislike. I just thought "Texas State-San Marcos" was too long, hence "TSSM." I've also been known to refer to Texas-Austin, although they can point to a long tradition of being called "UT." Maybe in a few years I'll forget about SWT and get used to calling it "Texas State." Probably about the same time, most folks will start calling UL-L "UL."
Anyway, Good Win tonight! Good luck against GASO and Tookie.

Cajuns dedicated their win tonight to softball coach Gerry Glasco, who lost his daughter (volunteer assistant coach) to a tragic automobile accident this morning.
Cajun Nation is really hurting today. The game was nothing more than a two hour diversion from the grief we are all feeling today.

The flagrant call on Forrest in OT was pure garbage and red suspension worthy. Didn't even review it. Forrest made a play at the ball and while it was a foul, it was a common foul.
Still, Shabazz had the ball, down one with ten seconds left, in transition, and pulled up for three. Mind boggling.
The buyout is surprisingly cheap and if this team comes home 5-16 overall, 0-9 in the SBC and 2-16 vs D1 teams, it should be over for Fox by Monday night.

No we don’t. Ike has been a shell of himself the past 1.5 years. If we haven’t learned to play without him, it’s bad coaching and bad recruiting. We would not have won a game we’ve lost wit Ike in the lineup. Unless you are talking about Ike from 2016.

You won’t see a ref suspension for a judgment call. It has to be a blatant mistake

Besides that, if we're talking about the dude who tackled Cockfield before he attempted the breakaway layup, it was a good call.

Like Texas State-Sul Ross and Texas State-Lamar? Don't be so sensitive. We have directional commuter colleges in search of identity. BTW, in the 60s, Ttech flirted with the idea of changing their name to Texas State, but they loved the Tt logo too much. North Texas also flirted with the name, but then again, WHO CARES?

Because the official name is Texas State Universtiy and has been for 6 years. Because the names of those schools are Texas St - Sul Ross or Texas State - Lamar. They are in the same system but the names weren't changed.
It would be like calling UTA Arlington State.

Damn, now I don't know what to call 'em . . . I mean, besides behind us in the standings.

It was an awful call and the ref was trailing the play. He literally was not in position to decide an intentional foul when there was a play on the ball, and contact on the ball made. Fantastic sell job by Cockfield to just fall down.
