You're more stupid if you think that Georgia State, the team that lost only 4 games in the OOT portion of the season, is only winning games because refs are making sure they do.

They are not throwing games for anyone.....they are incompetent on a nightmarish level.....

Mohajir noticed. He decided to visit the referees dressing room after the game to tell them what he thought of them. I can’t tell you exactly what was said but rest assured it made Winston Wolf look like mother Theresa

Are we zeroing in on this last play or are we conveniently forgetting that there were clear travels on ULM and GSU all game long.

The refs were not calling it all day. It's not like they conveniently decided to let the last play of the game slide. I can recall #1 spinning around in a circle under the basket off a rebound where he clearly lifted his pivot foot multiple times. Ertel also clearly travelled to get out of a trap under the basket.

Not saying it wasn't, but it was consistent.

He took at least four steps... On the "game winning" shot. (3 would have been traveling)

Whitewash it how you like.

And he was fouled going to the basket the play before. Did you watch the game or are you just cherry picking from Twitter posts because you're angry that your guy got his nose broken on incidental contact and then punched Simonds in the nuts?

“Suspended" with pay for doing such a great job fixing the game?05-stirthepot

But seriously, it's good that the league is suspending them.

Having watched the replay, it's not quite as bad as the WKU/UL game a few years back when the Cajuns scored the winning basket with 6 players on the court, but it was pretty bad.

Worthy of a suspension.

Oh man, do I love living in a time when people think the fix is in for GSU. Never thought I'd see it.

That was bad too. At least feel a bit better the SBC acknowledged it was that bad. If there were all these bad calls in the game Panther fans should be glad too. I’m already ready for the rematch in Monroe.

Geez. I could see if they were calling that slide but he never had possession of the ball. If he had possession then I could agree with the traveling call. No way you could call that possession to be able to call traveling.

I think by rule, you can't be on the floor and stand up with the ball.

Yes - He travelled.
No- The fix isn't in for GSU. SunBelt refs make rec league refs look NBA caliber somedays. I think we can all agree on that. The same homerism for us to say that wasn't a travel is the same as ULM saying the game was fixed.
Sorry ULM. It sucks to lose like that, but if the shoe was on the other foot nobody from your side would be giving the win back to GSU. With that being said, I would say no one should want to draw you guys in the tournament.

You are correct. I have been nailed for this back in HS when I played basketball. I had to have a ref explain why i was called. If he dribbled as he gets up, it is not a travel.

Important thing to note here, this is not like football. There are no such thing as Sun belt refs in basketball. There are refs that work Sun Belt games ... want better refs on Saturday, pay more.
