Charlotte is going to be good in time. Not quite there, but they will be a top half CUSA team soon.

Worst reffed game I have witnessed in years. Zebras wouldn’t let them play and proetected Davis the whole game.

Early, but I agree the Top 5 look like Marshall, North Texas, Old Dominion, Western Kentucky and UAB.
Next five are Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Louisiana Tech, Rice, and UTSA.
Bottom four are Southern Mississippi, UTEP, Charlotte, and Middle Tennessee.

Attendance last night for Southern Miss @ UNT was 3,267. That’s not too bad considering most students still aren’t back yet.

To all the non North Texas fans - as long as they keep winning, you really can't talk.
To all the North Texas fans - y'all brought this kind of hate from others upon yourselves when you declared yourselves the league champion after no proof at all, and the only fanbase to entirely vote for your team as #1 (except for that one Rice fan, but that's besides the point).
Before Side Show and the rest jump on me, I've stated over and over that I'm rooting for you guys to keep winning since you already have the highest NET ranking. But you guys are defensive af. Just let your team keep doing the talking for you...
I don't think a UNT fan has come on here and declared us the league champions. You asked us to rank the teams, and I did. I didn't rank North Texas first out of any bias. (If you remember my preseason football rankings, I ranked UAB ahead of North Texas, even though we were favored to repeat as western conference champions. I can and do separate my fandome from logical deduction https://csnbbs.com/thread-856028.html ) I based my #1 ranking on our record, and hat I've seen from our team, and what I've seen from others. In our OOC schedule we beat everyone we were supposed to beat. And now in conference play, we have beaten everyone we are supposed to beat. Even if some don't like the quality of our opponents, 15-1 is still 15-1.
People can hate if they want. I don't care. It will all get settled on the court. At the end of the day, I'm still pulling for the other top teams in C-USA to win. we need our top programs with the best possible records heading into the pod segment of our schedules. Best of luck to WKU, ODU, Marshall, and UAB. You guys seem to be among the favorites right now.

Look at the road schedules to see who is going to get in the top pod.
It’s tough to win on the road.
UAB plays at WKU, Marshall, NT, La Tech, Southern Miss, Rice, and MTSU.

Worse thing that could've happened to this WKU team was getting out to a big lead on the road at of all places ODU.
Too much youth playing too many minutes, between Banton and Bassey were 9 of the 13 turnovers.
I had this game penciled in as a loss but not in this fashion. Hopefully another learning experience about you have to keep playing for 40 minutes not 10.
You also have to realize we start 2freshman 2 sophomores and a junior. On top of that both freshmen graduated early and are barely 18yrs old. Huge learning curve going on here. Got a huge lead and started playing like it was a street ball game. When Bassey threw the behind the back bounce pass in traffic I knew we were in trouble. We totally lost focus. Until we develop more maturity we can expect more losses like this. Once we grow up No one is going to want to play us. Until then get us while you can.

Some of youse guys forget USM has played last 6 games all on the road, including our first 3 conference games.
While we obviously aren't top tier, we will win a lot of conference games at home, so I wouldn't put us bottom tier either.

Although that pass went to to wrong player, I will say it was a thing of beauty.
Bassey is a remarkable talent. I'm glad that I got to see him play.

He made a sick pass against Charlotte in the 2nd half. I was sitting 5th row by basket wku was shooting on. While hhe makes freshman mistakes you can see why there were 20 scouts at our game to watch him.

As I said...Western is a young team and it showed.
ODU played great defense and Western made some silly mistakes not caused by defense. Western also fell back in the selfishness that had not shown in a few games.
;Last but not least....fans can make a difference and viewing a ODU crowd (like the one last night) in person I've seen the ODU team feed off the fans.
Good win, actually almost a must win for ODU and I think 3 of the top 4 teams play at @ODU this week. Western has the talent but not the leadership or experience, right now. Something ODU has

If they are as good as touted, then they won't be there to grow up. Problem with one and dones. Only question is, does.his family keep their "job" if he declares?

Please don't ever say attendance of less than 5k is ok. That applies to all of CUSA.

not handling full court press = coaching
not impressed so far with our "safe" hire
Congrats on the win, Owls
