Utah St. just seemed very aggressive from the beginning. UNT did not match their intensity.

This is going exactly to form, particularly if looking at the last three games each team played.

North Texas limped in by losing at ODU by 3, only beating FAU by 3 at home, and only winning by 3 at UTSA.
Utah State blew out SJSU at home by 38, won at CSU by 5, and only lost at Boise State by 9.

The Sagarin Predictor had Utah State favored by the 4th biggest margin of any bowl matchup.

Lets be honest, most teams have a huge drop off between the starter and the backup.

Not when its the system and you had 3 or 4 years to recruit...

Western , UCF, Memphis didn't, and Bosie St doesn't either over a couple coaches and qb's

This game is completely out of hand. North Texas isn't coming back in the second half. Fine being knocked out of the game only made the problem worse. UNT does not come back against good teams, and Utah State is the best we have played this season. Good luck to the rest of you in your bowls. Time for UNT fans to focus on basketball.

Forget about winning. Can UNT make this a respectable final score in the 2nd half?

It's not an excuse, it's just a fact. It's not why we're losing but it didn't help.

This game is over, but you guys are getting a sneak peak at the future QB at North Texas. I expect Kason Martin to be the starter after Fine graduates.

Most 7th grade centers can snap a football better than UNT's. Hope you guys are recruiting his replacement.

Did you just get beat that game because you were bad or did you bear yourself? This game is so bad because UNT just cant seem to do antthing right today. Bad snaps, fumbles, interceptions, blown coverage, blocked xp. Thats a lot of sloppy play that isnt necessarily indicative of lack of talent.

We have talent but Utah St. has more and they have much better size. We look like an FCS team compared to them. As a team we definitely peaked earlier in the season.

Bad game for UNT today but at least this game thread stayed on this game.

The Tulane vs ULL thread on the Belt board quit talking about ULL getting rolled by the Wave and switched to discussing this game...
