This young team's psyche really needs a victory.

The road game against a mediocre Hampton team tomorrow at 4 PM affords a chance to win one. Our record at Hampton is not very good...we even lost there when we had Marcus on the team.

I remain positive, however, about this Tribe group...There is tremendous talent, but consistent injury since mid-summer and having to integrate five talented freshmen into the mix has held us back against a difficult non-conference schedule of overwhelmingly road games.

I'm really pulling for a win by the guys tomorrow afternoon.

TWO VHSL state championship football games at Hampton U today (noon and 4:30 kickoffs) so plan ahead.

Parking details for football games via Hampton U website: "Gates will open to the general public at 10:30am...Parking Lots 2, 10, 21 and 41 will be used for general public parking at a cost of $5."

Hampton does not shoot very well (other than Marrow). Our defense needs to not let them get their confidence up early.

Think the experimentation and development period is over. Time for our juniors and seniors to play like it and set the leadership tone. We need to find some momentum going into CAA play.

Our d is causing some missed shots underneath.

Loewe's defense on Marrow has been solid. Got to keep that level up for 40 and not let him get in a zone. Tony pulled Milon quick due to defense.
