The schedule came out and unlike recent years we aren't taking a spring trip as far as I can tell. Not big name teams other than UVA. More realistic given the team last season.

I noticed that there were four underclassmen from 2018 who are not on the 2019 roster: Michael Goldak, Patrick Ryan, Noah Locascio, and Aljo Sujak. Sujak transferred to Northwest Florida State.

Let’s give Marist the business.

Need to win at least 3 this weekend.

Don't know what's worse, being called William and Mary University/College, or the Colonials....On their website and by their athletic twitter account to boot. Geez! No less than a 4 game Tribe sweep this weekend, then they can say they thought they were playing the GW Colonials.

Baseball season is finally here!

opens their season this weekend at William & Mary with a four-game series over three days. The Red Foxes' begin play with a doubleheader against the Colonials at 4 p.m. tomorrow.

Double header at 4 PM this afternoon since rain expected tomorrow.

Lots of new faces on the squad including six freshman hurlers.

First order of business is to end that carryover sixteen game losing streak from the last segment of our previous season!

11 of the 32 man roster are freshmen. Large class, and if the quality is there as needed, it wouldn't be surprising to have three in the starting lineup. If those three deserved to be on the field and in the top of the lineup, so be it.

Solid mound work from freshman Snyder in the first game.

Certainly a better confidence boosting start to the season than Clemson a year ago. Go Tribe! Get the sweep.

Great start to a new season! Ended last year's 16-game losing streak right off the bat.

Very good pitching and encouraging to see strong relief in both games. Brandon Raquet, who was an NCAA
All-American freshman two seasons ago and had an awful year last season, hit game winning HR in second game and showed a live bat all night. Jack Cone and Hunter Hart, two starting frosh off to strong stafrts at W&M.

Keep it going today and tomorrow...weather permitting.
