RE: UC vs USF Game Thread
Just looked at the stats. UC dominated even more than I realized as I was watching.

First downs - 24 - 12
Time of possession 37-23

If not for those two turnovers, it could have been a real blowout.

Good thing USF didn't put in their 4th and 5th string QB's... because they would have thrown totally lucky TD passes too and we would have lost.

Does anyone recall if White came back on the field after his second injury? He is critical with Young out for the season.

Ridder flat out dropping the ball when we were driving to put the game away for good was frustrating. The D had the one big mistake on USF's first drive. Otherwise they were pretty stout. Even the long runs on 3rd and long we're ok as the d was designed to stop them...and mostly did. Eliminate the early mistake and a receiving gain late in the game on 3rd and long and the d played a complete game. We pretty much shu tdown their running game. I'm looking forward to next week to see how we compete against UCF. They destroyed us in 3 quarters last year. How different of a team are we this year? I see night and day but Saturday will show us how we stack up with the cream of the conference.

I believe he did. He made a couple more plays later in the game. Led the team with 10 tackles.

Yeah, he came back. He walked with a little limp to the locker room, after the game though. I think he'll be alright.

Aren't you the one that complains about the sight lines from the box seats and regularly opts for golf outings over early season games?
Not me and I have not missed a FB game in about 25 years. I have been to all bowl games since PJB except bowcation Tommy in HA. Will be at this years bowl.

Been to road games at IL, UL, Pitt, WVU, Marshall, MU, Tulane, etc.

Also I gave up golf years ago despite CC membership.

Check out the respective Navy scores, we would throttle Notre Dame!!!!

The transitive property does not work in football. I think we have a chance against Notre Dame, but I highly doubt we would throttle them.

I haven't seen this come up, but has anyone heard if Alec Pierce is out after the late hit knee/ankle injury? He was arguably our best special teams player. Terrible play.
