According to Wikipedia, GS record at home is 210-36 (.854)

Once the old RF stands are town down, it might make a huge difference. But I have never been a fan of football fields in baseball stadiums. It just looks too much like it was shoe-horned in.
It's an 85k seat Olympic Stadium converted for MLB baseball converted back to original configuration for college football . The only difference is since there is no track we are bringing the east side seats in closer. Can't help you if you walked all the way around it and were not impressed.
It's a huge stadium with 44k setbacks and a huge professional sports club area. I especially love the Plaza area. It's only going to get better inside and out.

You know most GS fans won't be impressed with anything y'all have.
Has nothing to do with who the school is that I was talking about or where I am from. I was very impressed by the original photos I saw of it. Once I was actually there, not so much. As I said, when more is done to it, that may change. But right now I have no desire to sit in a seat that's in the middle of the field and faces at an angle to the field that is not straight on. You expect that in an endzone corner, but not half the seats in your stadium. I have no desire to sit in a seat in a seat where the entire East half of the stadium has to turn around almost backwards to see the video board and scoreboard.
The amenities are nice, the front entrance and plaza area are great. You would expect that from a former MLB stadium. But there's not a good seat in the house that doesn't have at least one issue with it.
*exaggeration for effect*
It's amazing that reviews of the stadium do not mention the seating issues you mention, even from the AJC that wants us to die die die.
All you have to do I look at the picture in your signature to see everything that I just mentioned. The seats on the lower part of the picture are at a 30-40 degree tilt from the field. The east stands in the upper part of the stadium have to turn around to see the video board. It's not like I'm the first person to ever bring these things up. The overall affect of the stadium is really nice. When you get past that and actually sit down to watch a game, it's a different story. It's a matter of opinion. I'm there to watch a game, so the other periphery stuff doesn't matter so much to me. There are things I don't like about Paulson. There are things I don't like about Kidd Brewer. (those are the only other two conference stadiums I've been to) But at least when you sit down for the game at those two stadiums, you are actually facing the field straight on.
I'm not trying to get in this, but fans also read TXST for having too much of their seating in the corners/endzones of their stadium and they didn't get all in their feelings about it. Georgia State's seating is almost all in the corners/endzones just because of how the stadium was laid out for baseball. That's all that's being said here, and it was pointed out in other stadiums too.

My seats last year were in the lower part of the west stands. I didn’t have to turn. The upper deck of the east side is not in use. If you’re referring to the new east side stands you don’t have to turn behind yourself to look at the screen. It’s the eight largest screen in college football. You can see it. LOL. What game did you go to and what section did you sit in?

The pic in your sig is a fisheye view... It is off and always will be TXST is nicer move on. Probably not much chatter on seating since not many people have attended a game yet.
Its pretty. I'm also a homer. Saying that, I do think the State NEZ project will look better. We will have the tunnel through which the players and some fans will come onto the field. The field house, loge boxes, and fans standing in the background and up around the bar area will create alot of excitement. I won't even mention the waterfalls.
I will say every AD in the country needs to visit the new braves stadium and take notes they definitely got it right this time around. That is an all day money maker.

LOL but obviously butt hurt the majority of the board is not drinking your typical over the top GSU flavored kool aid or thinks it is one of the tops in the conference...

You know, you're right. I apologize. Paulson is the best stadium actually.
Its my favorite :D

GSU Stadium seatings are fine. There are no viewing angle problems. Ive sat in pretty much every section just for fun. The stadium satisfied a professional football franchise and large events, it is good enough for college football also. Lets move on. Why are you GS fans picking fights with everyone in every thread. Offseason boredom?

My My My....touchy aren't we.... You guys need to put a TON of cash into that place just to get it to middle of the pack status. Easy to tell the Braves let a lot of maintenance go the past few years. I know you guys think since it was a MLB park with 40K seats that alone vaults it to the top of the heap, but a facility with awkward seating angles can never be considered an elite football stadium.
