USA @ TXST will play a Friday doubleheader with rain expected all day Saturday in San Marcos. We've had the schedule altered on 8 of our 10 weekend series now.

Tyler Carr had a no hitter going through 8 2/3 innings with an 0-2 count before giving up a hit and a run to Texas State. Jags win 10-1.

Kevin Hill had a very similar game a few years ago against Georgia State. Cole Billingsly was giving everything he had to get to a short blooper but couldn't quite get there. I believe it was also in the 9th inning (could have been the 8th).

Astate and Troy will play 2 tomorrow to avoid Sunday rain. Which means another year of baseball and the spring football game going on at the same time...

USA wins the second game against TXST 11-10.

GS 5-1 against the top 3 teams in the West standings, 4-5 against the East (3 of those 4 East wins were to App).

Going to do a rain dance prior to tournament in hopes of another single-elimination format. GS has the starters to win in that sort of setup. Just don’t ask them to win anything that requires notable offense or sustained adequate relief pitching.

CCU gets game two, 7-3. Five Panthers errors did not help their cause. I thought your starter was very decent today, got horrendously bad luck D from his fielders. Tough.

Georgia State has 2 very good starters. Both should be All Conference contenders.
