Lomax can play some D. I just don't see us putting both short guards out on the floor together that much. More like a platoon system.
Harris is why we backed off on Crabtree.
Now Penny says he needs one big and maybe a stretch 4 for 2018.
Greedy bastard. Lol. He already stole our point guard. What more does he want??

Well, it was Wichita's bad luck that Lomax lived with Penny for a few years, lol. Sorta like the movie Blindside, which also was a real life Memphis story.

Yah, we’ll go with “bad luck.” I’ve got a few much more choice words that aren’t allowed here. I’ve got a pic with ALo in a Shockers sweatshirt waving a “Shocker” foam finger from when he was here and hung out with some of us at the bar/grill across from Intrust. He’s a nice kid. I’ll probably get it blown up poster size for when the Tigers visit Koch. I hope the kid and Memphis do well, as it’s good for the conference, regardless of how I feel about $.01 as a person.

You're seriously holding getting Lomax against Penny? Would you have felt that way if the roles were reversed, and it was somebody who lived with Gregg Marshall?

No. I don’t hold getting Lomax against Penny. I just never liked him. Lots of big time programs hire fathers/guardians to help get their kids to sign. I think that’s trash. I don’t think that’s what happened here. (And maybe the Harris signing made me just a bit more bitter about the Lomax decommit )

Aha, now I understand your previous comment about "greedy bastard." Two PGs in the same class. Well, Harris wasn't a done deal until this week. He was not sure about sharing the spotlight.
Plus, he is being sold as a 5'8" SG, lol.

If 5’10”-ish ALo is running point at some point while 5’8”-ish Harris is running the 2, The offense could be REALLY good, but Penny better have a pretty good zone in his pocket for the other end of the floor.

Couldn't agree more. I doubt we see much of that this first season. Too many other options.

Tyler Ulis is 5'9
Charlie Moore is 5'10
Louisville did ok w/ Russ Smith and Siva on the court together (both listed at 6'0) and then Smith and Chris Jones (5'10)

Where will Alex Lomax play his freshman season?

We need some bigs.
Penny said he still wanted a big and a stretch 4 for 2018, but I have no idea where they would be coming from, unless Wiseman reclassifies.
Our best shot at bigs comes for 2019, with Wiseman, Dandridge and C. Lawson, all of whom played for Penny.
I hear you. Maybe a grad transfer, I suppose.

We are hosting a stretch 4, Isaiah Maurice, a verbal commit to New Mexico, on an official visit this weekend. He would fill an immediate need, and New Mexico just got a commit from another big today.
